It's March Reading Month! Mrs. Deurloo, an author and a parent of two children at GCS, has been teaching our kids how to write a book, the different types of a book, how to make a storyline, etc. Our kids have been able to work on their books with their chapel groups. She shared with us God is the best author of all time, and most of us have the best selling book in our house, the Bible!
This past Monday we were excited to host local author Jill Barry-Cowan. Jill read to our Preschool through 2nd grade students her "Millie Dreams of Michigan" book.

John Veenstra and Dave Kooienga built speaker shelves and installed free TVs from Miss Whiteside's (STEM teacher) dad, for gym and music class. . Thank you so much to our hard-working volunteers who took time out of their weekend to improve our school!
