Today our Preschoolers and Kindergartners took a trip to the Grant Fire Station! What a great way to learn more about fire safety and what a firefighter looks like! Thank you firefighters for teaching us how to be safe!

This morning in Chapel, Brendan Carroll of New Life Fellowship Church reminded us of how God is a God of 1st, 2nd and 3rd chances, even when we hurt Him.
"Our first graders learned how helpful reading can be while following directions to assemble our new mailboxes for our classroom. Everyone was eager to help assemble this 3D "puzzle " and to try their hand at using the screwddivers. The final product will help us further organize our classroom." -Mrs. Taylor
Today our 3rd & 4th graders had a great day at Howard Christensen Nature Center! They learned more about Food Chains and Food Webs!
Today at Chapel (Worship Wednesday is the first Wednesday of the month) two of our sweet preschoolers offered to close us out in prayer.
On the first Wednesday of the month students get a chance to pick a prize if their name is drawn. If they get a "Star ticket" for getting caught in the act of being kind the ticket goes in a drawing!

Once a month the 7th and 8th graders have Art Cafe. They use premium paints and have a snack along with tea and coffee. Great idea Mrs. Hutchinson!
We had a gorgeous afternoon for our annual walk-a-thon! ☀️ We are SO PROUD of our students! They all did their best walking or running! Thank you to everyone who sponsored our students and helped this fundraiser be a success! 💙

We might have been spoiled today at lunch! Homemade beef or chicken lasagna, garlic bread, fresh green beans from the garden, fresh fruit, no bake cookies, chocolate chip bars, M&M bars and rice crispy treats for dessert! ❤️
