If you walked our halls, this is a little of what you would see!

Valentine's celebrations! 💕
Everyone was feeling the love (and maybe a bit of a sugar rush)! We sure LOVE our students at GCS! 💙

After several snow day cancellations we were finally able to have our school wide "Christmas movie" today.
We were able to watch the movie David with pop/popcorn and movie theater candy.

Thank you to Pepe Morales from Grace Hispanic Church in Grant for leading us in chapel this morning.
We also recognized honor/top honor roll kids. Great job!
Several kids were able to pick a prize for "getting caught in the act of being kind" in the month of January.

We will be closed today due to the icy roads.

Decisions, decisions...

Decisions, decisions.....

Second graders drew a picture of a groundhog today.
P.S. Second grade parents, be ready for a letter to come home, trying to persuade you to get a ground hog as a pet!

Thank you Brendan for leading us in chapel today, reminding us about abiding in God.
John 15:4-7 Abide in me, as I also abide in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself, it must abide in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in me.
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you abide in me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing. If you do not abide in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you abide in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you.

What a winter!

Finally! Back outside for recess.
