In K-2 today our students had dress like your future career day! How fun!

Our Preschoolers and Kindergartners had a great trip to the Grand Rapids Public Museum today!

As a part of reading month in the elementary, K-2 had pajama day today! They snuggled up with some good books and practiced reading aloud to each other! They also listened to Dr. Seuss' "The Sleep Book."

Today our K-2 classes got to have a special reader for reading month! Representative Joseph Fox came out to GCS and read us two Dr. Seuss books! Thank you Mr. Fox!

Mr. Neville shared with 1st and 2nd graders the real meaning behind St. Patrick's day! Thank you!

2nd Grade went on a field trip to the Grand Rapids Museum and Planetarium. Everyone had a blast!

Our own Mr. Neville led us in chapel yesterday! He talked about the word remez, which means a hint. We were reminded in the story of Abraham sacrificing Isaac, that one day, that would be Jesus, our perfect sacrifice.
Willow (kindergartener) led us in prayer. Sam led us in our weekly Bible facts. We are so thankful for Chapel at GCS.

If you walked our halls, this is a little of what you would see!

Dreaming of Spring 🌷🌦️🌈 and writing about it too! In any season... buddies are a highlight of the month!

There were some super cute "Cat in the Hats" at GCS today!

Hop on Pop and some popcorn!!!
K-2 got together this Friday to read by flashlight. So much fun!!!

Caught with our noses in good books! March has begun and so has Reading Month! 1st, 5th, and 6th grade buddies enjoyed reading with each other today.

In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday today, our K-2 students read Green Eggs and Ham, did a craft and sampled some "green" eggs and ham! What a fun way to celebrate!

The Kindergartners look forward to their buddy time each month! Check out their creations for February!

Creating future spies... one Morse code practice at a time! What better way to begin a conversation about the Civil War?

Those who follow Jesus will not walk in darkness but will possess the "light of life."
Thank you Pastor Pete Byma for leading us in chapel this morning.

Valentine's celebrations! 💕
Everyone was feeling the love (and maybe a bit of a sugar rush)! We sure LOVE our students at GCS! 💙

After several snow day cancellations we were finally able to have our school wide "Christmas movie" today.
We were able to watch the movie David with pop/popcorn and movie theater candy.

Thank you to Pepe Morales from Grace Hispanic Church in Grant for leading us in chapel this morning.
We also recognized honor/top honor roll kids. Great job!
Several kids were able to pick a prize for "getting caught in the act of being kind" in the month of January.
