The students at all grade levels have been busy learning more about science with nature being our classroom. In addition, they are learning some survival skills necessary when spending time away from home and in the woods. The elementary students disassembled the survival shelters constructed last year to make room for new shelters this year. The middle school students learned some new techniques for fire building. They will be able to attempt building a fire later in the year with more challenging conditions (ie. snow on the ground).

The cabin is looking awesome and will provide an excellent Outdoor Education classroom. Many thanks to Don Eeningburg and Roger Hilbrand. Dave VZ and I are ordering a 30' x 60' hoop house with installation planned for November. More information will be sent as I will need volunteers for the "hoop house raising".

It is amazing how God has provided and Outdoor Education has grown because of His goodness.
